I agree with Sabrina. Stairs are an issue and I recall that paths being rather narrow. They should be fine for a wheelchair, but there didn't seem to be a bounty of maneuvering space.
That's so sweet of you!!!! Unfortunately it is mainly with stairs. She may be able to sit at the top and the staff may accomodate by letting her go into the bottom exit to see that portion. But I don't think she would be able to go into the main area. May want to call to see what accommodation could be made. 😀
I was just there 2 hrs ago. Very nice place to take her. Maneuvering around shouldn't be too complicated although I do agree some areas being a bit more narrow but yet again it's not a race so take your time it's not impossible. Also it does tend to get warm in there. Today was very nice though since the weather cooled a little
Unfortunately It's not wheelchair accessible stairs and they stairways are narrow. Other museum exhibits there are.. But just not that one really.. Very tight and narrow spaces.. And stairs through out..
There is an elevator, but she may only be able to access the top and then the bottom because the stairs are quite lengthy, to access middle areas
I believe the main area for seeing the butterflies would be tricky to navigate with a wheelchair. I think it's possible though.
Yes, it is, but it's in a humid atmosphere, so maybe 85 degrees. Just make sure she is ok with that temperature. It's truly amazing Just to stand and watch

Do you have to pay for the general admission if you just want to go to the butterfly center?
