That doesn't make sense. The teller couldn't sell it because the teller didn't have a Texas ID, or the buyer didn't have a Texas ID? I have been there dozens of times, and bought wine and beer. A Texas ID is not required. Proof of age, but not a Texas ID. If this happened, it's obvious an isolated incident, caused by improper training. My experience has always been good there. The service is fast and friendly. They've got a great selection of food and drink, and there's a liquor store right outside.

I understand that they ask for identification but it is to make sure of your age that you are not under age, not because of your immigration status because that is already how you do not believe in discrimination?
