An hour and a half is probably about right, but we stopped a couple times, which I think makes the trip even more enjoyable, so I'd recommend planning for a little longer.
An hour and half is a leisurely pace
The three mile is an easy journey.. anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half is more rhan sifficient time.
It depends on the level of the river water and how fast you paddle. But without rushing, I did it with my 8 year old in 1.5 hours with a few stops to look for crawdads.
If you dont stop and get in the creek at all just paddling straight through takes about an hour so by the time you take the bus to launch and then return about an hour and a half to 1:45mins
