If im not able to complete the rest of my community service hours before my return date, is there anyway i can be granted an extension?

I believe you must appear before the judge to get an extension.

Yes. On your court date, they will check to see if you have been trying to get the hours done. If they believe that you are trying, they will grant you an extension.
