Monte Carlo's last operating day is 31mar18: Park MGM's first operating day is 01apr18 (data from mgm mirage resorts website.)
I just got back from there and it's still having construction done on the building. The name changed happened on April 1st, that's about it. The Eaterly they are building in front of the Park MGM is scheduled to be done in the fall of 2018.
It's done. Check it out.
They said "spring 2018", but it looked to me like there still may be some renovation beyond that into summer.
