Cherokee has a wide selection of try them before you buy them pistols and rifles. Most pistols are semi-automatic or revolver. An automatic weapon is generally a military weapon and requires special licensing. Their staff is very helpful and informative stop by sometime and have a chat.
You are asking Google Guides, not the company. I believe they have rentals for their range, but nothing you would be able to take home. They do not have automatics to rent. I don't believe they sell them either. There are tons of tricks to learn how to shoot, and to learn proper trigger control, (which is 95% of shooting), without firing a single round. Search on the internet for trigger control exercises. Start small, work your way up, and never buy a firearm that doesn't feel good/ comfortable to grip/ hold.
Also, look at Sounds of Freedom, they let you shoot all they're pistols before you buy. Foy as long as you like.
Are you asking me or Cherokee fire arms I don't do business with them
