I disagree with Sandeep. Get tickets for the tour, then eat ice cream, then look around. By then it will be time for your tour and youl be hungry again!
Check their site for timing...weekend are very busy so give head time of 1-2 hours.....at end of tour they do provide ice creams so wait till u have that before you make a buying decision
No particular day or time. They make batches and then clean for a very long time. I visited when they were making a batch but you can hardly notice the difference.
Any day of the week. The times vary seasonally but the tours run every half an hour during visiting hours.
