Why can't you leave at least one lane open when it's late? I don't work for Kroger's and I don't appreciate you wanting me to do your employees jobs I also don't appreciate the fact that these self-checkouts are putting people out of work.

We have more jobs than actual unemployed at this time. I understand your concern but it's really hard to find employees. I don't work for Kroger but I follow employment trends. If you do write Kroger your argument might be better if you just say that you don't like using self- checkouts.

I do know for a fact that Kroger needs more people, for whatever reason, are in need as much as MCDONALD'S. I personally love the self checkout as I get out much faster except on some occasions when I have coupons, or machine is having issues. It is very worrisome about our electronic future & loss of people jobs. I recently met a gentleman who bought his Mercedes online! He said they were so incredibly efficient & quick, he worries for his kids futures. I wish I had better words for you, maybe if Kroger paid higher wages (Trump tax cut), they could keep quality people?
