Yes, they will refund but will use the most recent sale price. They do ask for identification & will check their database to make certain one does not abuse Walmart's return.policy. also the amount returned will be given with gift card.
Depending on how you paid, you can get it back with a state ID. I didn't have a receipt just a state ID. It depends on the store
Whether you can even return an item very much depends on the item being returned, the condition, and how long since it was purchased. Having said that, a photo of the original receipt should be acceptable, as long as it is unadulterated, and clearly shows when and how the item was purchased. Because, for example, if you return an item purchased via debit or credit card, then the return amount will only be credited back to the card used. If, however, the original purchase was cash, then any returned amount will be refunded as cash. In addition, walmart uses a verification process to validate the original purchase date. If your photo is not clear, then Walmart will still accept the item for return or exchange, provided it meets the following conditions: The refund verification process accepts the return. Your government issued ID is not altered and is accepted by Walmart.
My sister is a service desk manager, my advice is to call and ask so you don't make a wasted trip.
That's a good question. I would think they would as long as it shows the date and the product. They might however give you store credit.
