Hey Craig, if you're looking to cancel your account, you can fill out a cancelation form in the club, or you can send a signed cancelation letter to your club. We'd hate to see you go!
They will only close your account in person at the Planet Fitness you signed up at. I called corporate. They told me the same thing. I didn't have to sign anything when I went to where I signed up. I just gave them my key fob to look up my membership. It took around 10 minutes.
I had to go to the planet fitness where I signed up and close my account they needed a signature, took 10 minutes and they need like 3 business days to close or the next auto payment will come out
call customer service and request they close out your account immediately they can do it by phone
