Customer is always right is gone because people took advantage of it and believe it or not, the customer isn't always right. Many people feel entitled and get abusive to clerks and customer service reps. I work in customer service and I don't deserve to be screamed at, sworn at, threatened with bodily harm (yes, it happens!) Or treated like garbage because a customer is incorrect or misinformed. I don't work for walmart but am a Customer Service Rep for another company. I do my best to provide excellent customer service but it is difficult when you get treated badly for just doing my job.
