You get your permit and CDL in the state you test out in. Then you change it to your home state during TNT training.
I went to Pittston Pennsylvania for my start. I was there until I was put on a truck for the PSD phase of my training. My trainer opted to have me test in Springfield Missouri. I tested in Springfield then had to return to my home state of West Virginia for my license due to the fact that I never had my permit transferred to Missouri or Pennsylvania. It may differ for you if your from PA. Just ask a recruiter if you are interested. I personally love it at Prime. My best advice would be to get as much information as possible and see how you like it. Being away from home is probably the only downside for me personally.
