Christ United is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year so First Methodist must have burnt down in1967. I was married there in 1964. Two of Olean's churches merged to form Christ United. There is also still Trinity Methodist Church in Olean.
They were known as Methodist Churches until 1967. The EUB (Evangelical United Brethren Church) merged with the Methodists in 1967.
