Great schools, close to DC, very diverse place. The only downside is the cost of living ($$$)
If you have kids you will have access to very good schools ranking high nationwide
Virginia is a great Commonwealth (state) to live in, Fairfax County is a great place to live. Lots of history, places to eat, visit and have fun. Some things can be $$ but not all. Fairfax was the home of George Washington.
