No, you are not permitted to collect any items from the Nature Center, nor are you allowed to leave the trails at any time. They do have a chapter of the Missouri Mycological Society that meets there. Call the desk and ask for more information on it. They'll know where you can hunt mushrooms.

The posted sign tells you not to leave the trails or remove anything from the property including but not limited to rocks, sticks, branches, leaves or plants of any kind. It also says no horseback riding or pets allowed.

No you can't. You can but not supposed to disrupt the wild life and that would be considered doing so.

I don't think your supposed to leave trails. I haven't asked but i have never seen anyone going off trail.
