While on a day tour the guides lock you into each building With then as They explain the history. They say to prevent trespass. Noises are common and creeps you out But when one of our guides looked back With a surprised look because we all heard the same sound.......yeah spooky.

The guides do a great job of explaining the different events. To name a few ghost sightings, eerie noises, the feeling of being touched when noone is near you. If you are really into this type of stuff I would suggest the overnight tour if you are older then 18.

Their ghost tour will go over all the different experiences and let you explore the areas yourself. They also give some history of the prison.

I have friends that used to work there that claim they themselves have had paranormal experiences

I didn't go in due to having 3 children with me and I had to see it. We walked from the capital and when we started the walk around it was a very Erie feeling my middle son wanted to leave it was pretty scary just from the outside
