On Groupon it says you can do a 60 minute kayak rental on whalon lake...has anyone done this & was it enjoyable (especially for a family of 4)? Also, do you need to make a reservation for this or is first come, first served?

If you Google "kayak rentals at Whalon" you will see that this is a new amenity starting in May and running thru October. Sounds like a great idea.

I also have not seen any kayak rentals at Whalon Lake. There is no permanent facility for that there... But someone might bring a trailer for rentals. That said, it would be an ideal lake to learn /try kayaking... It is small, no rough water, no motorboats to run you over.. Just bring lots of sunscreen!

There is Naperville kayak rentals but I have only seen them on the river never Whalon......but no idea if that is by choice and chance or law

I have never seen any rentals. People bring their personal kayaks.
