I'll be staying in Alsip for a few days in July with my dog and am looking for a park where he can run around off leash. I see on the website that this one has a membership; is there any provision for visitors?

Sorry, but you will need to apply for a membership for admittance to the dog park. They don't have temporary or one time access to the dog park area. You can still bring your dog and walk around the beautiful park area but they need to be leashed. They have doggie poop bags throughout the park for you to clean up after your dog defecate. To sum it up, you can still bring your dog on leash, just not in the member dog park area. Hope this answers your questions.

Hi Melissa The best is that you contact the Village. I am pretty sure that you can find an email address or phone number online. Btw. I don't bring my dog to the dog park but I walk him in the Park itself with a leash. My dog loves it.
