As far as the twelve stores closing in the States, that is the only known liquidation of their domestic assets. This is more of a strategic move to gain enough cash assets to create a possible superstore. ( Or just to cut their losses) They could fear the future with an unstable Potus doing as he pleases unchecked. They could be looking into exporting their business elsewhere, where a better economy would boost profits of the store as a whole.

Nope. They are making major changes to many of their stores and while they may be closing some underperforming stores, they are a very healthy business.
