No, it's jointly owned by the City of Schertz and Bexar County. Schertz does the upkeep on it, I believe. Great park for running/walking amd picnics.

It's a great place for birding. The blind is well made with lots of room. Not a state park, no fee.

It is not a state park so there is no fee to enter. It is a nature park focused on the natural vegitation of the area, and wildlife thay frequents there. There are also bird blinds where you can sit and watch the birds in their natural habitat.
