What if you adopted a dog, and it was surrender by it's previous owners because of urination problems, but when you get it home that is not the case, it has constant diarrhea and doesn't want to eat. What are your choices.

I would take it to the vet. It sounds like there could be something wrong

I have took her to the vet, says we will do a follow up, I care about, she is at the groomers now, I just worry about her no eating, I wish I knew what the old owners fed her, she is such a loving dog.

Well, you did adopt the pet, and the pet comes with responsibility and most of the time when u adopt that should b first thing you do is go have the animal a full check up and the vaccines, so that is what you need to do Bc you adopted an addiction to your family and just like a baby if yr child gets sick you would take it to the Dr and set up the babies Dr visits so that's the same thing you need to do with this animal you took responsibility for. You can call the shelter but just Bc he is sick and adjusting your not just wanting to send it bk just Bc the dog may b adjusting and scared in a new environment. I mean can u imagine how nerves the dog is, all he heard was constant barking and people in and out dog just surrender it back the animal needs time to adjust as humans do if they move or a kid comes out of foster home. Take the dog to the vet it could just b nerves but call shelter ask what vaccines it had if any and u will no where to begin.

I would call Young -Williams. They were very helpful with some issues when we adopted a pup there last August.
