Is it common to let others cut the line if they spend lots of money and/or know the owners/workers? This was witnessed today (2019-05-04). I would suggest not showing favoritism that wastes your other customer's time.

I go there a few times a month and haven't seen anything like this.

I am like Monica the only time I ever seen it happen was during a call in order. Did you express your concern the them directly?? You should probably try that method first before a rant on an app they probably don't check or even use.

I have not yet witnessed that, I am sorry that happened to you.

I have never witness this but it is a small shop/restaurant. Still this is rude. I do know they are very busy and people do get squished together due to there not being much room between the counter and the door. What we did when we went was one of us would get everyone order in our group and the other would go find a table. Sorry this happened to you as we have always been treated politely. Wish you better service on your next visit.

@beth I appreciate your response. This particular person was able to walk behind the counter to talk to staff working there. Afterwards he also placed his order at the counter after cutting the whole line so it wasn't a pickup order, which I would clearly understand.

The only time I have seen somebody 'cut line' is if they had called in a phone order and the food is already done, they let them go ahead and pay so they could leave
