I have seen people either dress up or wearing Jean's and T-shirts. I personally think it depends on what you are comfortable with and if you are celebrating a specific event. I wouldn't take a significant other there in cut up Jean's and stained shirt, but that's just me.
I always like to dress up a bit. I'd feel weird wearing jeans there, but I don't think it's against any rules.
