I play everything except Magic and I have never had a bad experience in this store. They are always willing to take out time to help me find the right game.
We are heavy gamers, most everything except MTG. Have tried to engage most staff about game discussions but they seem to want to talk to their MTG customers more & arent very helpful. That being said, they have a great selection and library to try out games at any time before you buy.
No, they do not. Especially with the new staff changes over the past 12-16 months.
Not really from my perspective. I wanted to order about $300 worth of Warhammer 40,000 stuff, but they didnt want to be bothered to add it to their weekly truck. I even offered to prepay, so long as I could get what I asked for. They still declined and still dont do this kind of thing. I've asked multiple times.
Yeah they have tons of additional games and people knowledgeable to help you.
Very much so. Light hearted staff That goes out of the way ti make sure you are satisfied
Have been going to RIW for years, and it is one of my go to stores, specifically because of how well the staff has treated me over the years. (I have played several card games there before eventually going back to magic, but I’ve always found the staff helpful)
I'd been going for both Magic and other board games, they've always been super helpful and welcoming. I've come back with incredibly vague requests something along the lines of "I'm looking for something for my play group composed of [playgroup description]" and they've been able to help me find what I'm looking for. I don't think it's accurate at all to say they only care about magic.
Why would you play anything other than MTG? Come... to the dark side my child!
