I am a homeowner with solar panels on my roof. I have an electric vehicle. I do not want to upgrade to 200amp service. I would like more information about your meter adaptor. How can I keep abreast of your progress in getting it to the market?

Karen, if you have two open available positions vertically in your panel, you should just be able to have a 40A circuit breaker added for a 32A 240v EV charger. This would charge most EVs at 20-25 miles per hour. Such an installation should not be a major expense at all. You should certainly do your research on this since not all electricians are in the business of saving you money unfortunately.

Hi Karen, thanks for the interest in the upcoming EV adapter. You're one of a LOT of people who emailed (we read yours, and every other one that came in) asking about the product. We'll be sending out a formal response soon but the short version is this is a Siemens product and they'll be handling all the communications going forward, including getting you all on an update list for launch! (Our job at ConnectDER is to make it work really really well.)
