I have avidly work retail in my life. I happen to know that most stores recieve orders depending on department. That is, retailers which specialize in the clothing department within the store in question may not recieve the same notifications had the order been placed under jewlery/accessories. I would start there. Contact the store and ask for the specific department. They should have record of all processed transactions. If that doesnt work, call again and ask for the department lead or store operations manager (there may be different managers assigned to various functions).If all this fails, i would cancel the order through the website, print out the invoice or confirmation number and get my money back immediately. The sooner you do these things the better.
