Is there a redemption center where I can return cans and bottles?

I know that you can return cans/bottles for deposit. But I'm not sure how. Fareway doesn't have a public room out front like many of their competitors for this. Recycle reposits made a lot of sense 30 years ago. But, I sure wish the government would end the antiquated practice. Single-stream recycling is superior.
