The flood waters have been receded since at least early August, as far as I know. I went down there on August 10th during Jour de Fete in Ste Genevieve and the road was clear to the bell. When you get there you will see bars on the entrance but press the button on the side of the door way and push the doors open through the bars to see inside and close it back up when you leave.
