So I bought a 5$ drink on my debit card. And tipped in cash. I looked at my card and the bartender charged me 20$ for a 5$ drink. Does that happen a lot there?

YES!!! They swiped my card, I paid the entire bill in cash, there were 4 transactions on my card, so basically my husband and I had a $200 brunch.

I have had them do some rather questionable things with charges. They have charged me over 250$ over multiple different charges on one occasion. I bought 4 beers there and left on this said occasion, i also had a tab that i ordered off. So I am not sure how exactly they have there billing setup but have something screwed up there.

Yeah they do that, the charge will fall off and you'll be charged the actual $5
