Technically, only service dogs are allowed and an associate can ask if your dog is a service dog. If you answer yes, they can't ask for proof. If you have your animal child in a cart, there must be a barrier between them and the cart, like a blanket or cardboard. Emotional support dogs do not qualify as a service dogamd you can be asked to leave if you state tbey are your emotionalsupport pet. But I have seen many people bring in dogs, cats, one guy brings his parrot. Some lady had a small pig on a harness and lead. Depending on who sees your pup or other animal child, not much is said unless Rover relieves himself on the floor.
What store?
Yes.
Not a good idea
Only if your dog is certified support dog. Certain stores allow for animals to visit. Any employee has the right to tell you your pet can't be there if you do not have the correct paperwork. Anyone can put a vest on a dog. Etiquette you should contact ahead of time or make contact with a mgr the moment you arrive. Keep in mind if it's not for support just don't. There are people out there that have allergies, fears or just don't want a dirty dog walking around getting fur on the food or clothes they may want to buy.
I believe so, I read no one is allowed to ask questions once you inform that animal is a service animal. Yet you must have something like the service dog vest or equivalent.
Why.would you?
