Yes, we do have authentic tamales. We mix masa brand corn meal and baking powder, mix with salt and seasoning, add the cooked meat to the middle of the dough and fry. We only make carnitas tamales.
So yall should know. I use to work there, being a cook and seing what i saw, i stoped working there and eatimg there. The owner is slum and the kitchen guys cook up spoiled meat and veggies. And the fish is not cared for the right way. And nats are flying everywhere and the kitchen guys are drunk all day. When the dishes are washed, cold water is used for that. And the grill is disgusting. Grease from the hood fan drip all over cooking food. The meat is never in right rotations and dried up chicken all over the meat cooler and cross contamination happens all day long. And the guys take bare hands grabbing meat for cooking. There is so much more. I will never go there again and i hope yall do the same.
