You must have a stay of 30 days or more to use your own golf cart. They rent them at $54 a day. They may have reduced rates for long term. State law prohibits use of the carts on the road outside of the park and the closest major shopping is about 30 minutes by car. Beach area is about 45 minutes away, it is closed this winter. It does have a pool, hot tub and beach access in N. Myrtle beach.

You can bring your own golf cart, you need proof of insurance on it with liability of $20000+. There is a fee $40 (I think that's the amount). Yes they have a shuttle to a private beach off the grounds.
Fort Wilderness Disney let's you bring your own golf cart and they handle that very well. It's sad that this place cannot handle the liabilities like Disney can. Not to mention the pricing is about the same nightly.

You can bring own cart if here more than 3 months (last I was told). There is a shuttle to beach but it is closed for the season. (Last I heard). Shuttle runs to Broadway at the beach.
No you can not unless you are a permanent camper.
Plenty to do on grounds well kept place you don't even dump your own garbage put it on the end of your site they pick it up....
