Are there exhibits my 2 year old would enjoy? Would you say 2 is too young to enjoy/appreciate the museum? I took my son to the Carson children's museum and he loved it, but it is much smaller and not as crowded.

It's best to go during the week with little ones. There are a lot of interactive play opportunities so while a 2 year old wouldn't get value from the exhibits they'd probably still have fun. My son is 3 and he loves the museum.

There's a whole room for 5 and under full of fun stuff. My son just turned 2 and he loves the place. Its made for him.

Hello James. The Discovery has an exhibition designed just for children under age 5 called Little Discoveries. Beyond that, there are opportunities for young learners throughout the entire museum.

I think your son would enjoy seeing Sue (the dinosaur). Also, theres a wonderful exhibit on the lower level that is a small scale model river and he can splash in it and put little boats/floating objects in it and watch them float down stream.

This place is awesome... Lots of things to do even for a two year old!!
