There are two thing Bear and Packer fans do agree on. 1, Viking fans are a lower form of life and 2, Nothing beats a good burger. You should be fine.
Most Packers fan are no problem with other team fans, but you well all ways have some that we'll get stuped. The food is great at Kroll's West.
You might get a few casual jokes, but nothing harsh or offensive. Green Bay, and Lambeau itself, are consistently rated as one of the most hospitable for visiting teams.
I would agree with Joseph. I don't think any Pack Fans are going to be picking on young children.
You certainly can. You may get some teasing, but it's all in good fun. Packer fans are often voted friendliest in NFL. The food is great and is very Wisconsin-y ;-) You may also want to try R and D's House Divided on University Ave. It's a bar & grill/sports bar with excellent food... and perhaps most importantly to you-- one owner is a Bears fan & one is Packer fan. You'll see both Packers and Bears decor around the whole place. Visit Krolls when the Pack is home & fans are checkung out Lambeau... like the day before a game or on Game Day to get the full experience of Lambeau, etc. Pick another day for breakfast, luch, or dinner at House Divided and be welcomed like home team fans would be (according to Bears fan owner lol). Have a great time visiting our awesome town! ;-)
I am a Bears fan myself, and never encountered a hostile, or threatening, situation in Krolls or from Packers fans in general.
I would definitely encourage you to visit, most Packers fans are very friendly. Maybe avoid gameday vs Bears 😉
I think most of the year the attire will go quite unnoticed. I have family who are bears fans and they never get much beyond the friendly jibe. Staff at the restaurant will definitely be friendly and welcoming.
While there are always a few bad apples in every bunch, I'd say yes, the kids should be fine. A little good natured ribbing should be expected, but Packer fans are always cordial.
Very friendly group in title town . The butter burgers are legendary.
