It was only showing for a limited time because it was filmed in Louisiana. It was basically a special thanks. Don't hold me up to that information because that was the rumor.
According to Wikipedia, It was only shown for 2 days in theaters on September 26 and October 4. It will next be available on the SyFy network from October 28.
