The gator is tail meat, offered as fried or blackened. You can get the meat on several different entree options. The tail meat is cut into thick pieces, and served with a remoulade sauce. I personally prefer the "laffy" sauce, which is sort of a horseradish/seasoned ranch.
I just left there. The blackened was better then the fried although they both are really great. And if you don't have a direct answer then why comment and say you haven't had that? I got some Google points from reviews but I don't comment just to get points. If you haven't tried what someone is asking about, then what good is. "I haven't tried that or I don't know"?
