No. Common black snakes are there. Harmless. And some Brown water snakes also harmless.

Sue Montana | Oct 24, 2018

No, I have been a few times and have not seen any snakes.

I've seen several snakes while mountain biking on the trails, all were black snakes. There are also copperhead snakes in the area. Stay aware and give snakes space. I've had more tick encounters on the hiking trail!

Been hiking it regularly for going on 2 years.... Have seen 1 Carolina watersnake that entire time anywhere near the trail. Odds are if you stick to the trails you won't have a problem.

Hello jago no i only ran across one snake long as i been fishing out there and that's been about three years so i hope that eases your worrying about sneaks.

Michael | Oct 24, 2018

There is no more risk than anywhere else. Remember that snakes have nearly perfect camouflage, just because you don't see one doesn't mean they are not next to you. Most bites happen because someone stepped on one or they are messing with it. If you see one just go around and you will be fine.
