I was released in May 2018. As it stands now, if a detainee does not have a ride home or money for a bus ticket, PDC will purchase a bus ticket and take them to the nearest bus station, which is in Savannah. An officer will stay there with them until the bus leaves. Because this process takes time and obviously money, make sure the detainee lets their counselor know this their first week there. Everyone meets with their counselor the first week, during orientation.

They will provide a bus ticket and take them to the station
