Yes Concord and Kannapolis police patrol make repeat drive thrus.
No but most times I parked there I was safe

No there's no night security at the moment they're well lit but occasionally you do have state troopers to come through not often.

No none of the NC rest areas have night time security. They are very well illuminated and there is currently a cleaner there almost all the time.
