I called them and they said they only service cars from 2005 and up so I need to find a better alternative
They should be able to work on your 96 Grand Marquis. Call and ask a service advisor to make sure. Well recently had my truck serviced here and a horrible experience since the new owner change. Ford did $1500 damages to my truck and wanted to blame me for it. I took my truck in for a rear deferential leak and the mechanic tight up the drive shaft to tight and messed up all my rear end bearings. I took it to a different mechanic to fix what ford messed up. Since vehicles are not being sold, the new owner told the service department they need to make more money so they messing up people vehicles. I barely drive my truck since I have a company car and never should need that type of work done. Find a better Ford dealership because this one is ripping people off now. Out of 7 years going to this dealership, I never had issues until the new owner change.
There should not be any problem working on the car, part should still be able to them
