Absolutely not!! My mother is there and I'm doing everything I can to get her somewhere else. Some of the staff there are nice and they do their job but others seem to want to chemically restrain their residents. My mother wears hearing aids and they've lost one of them and refused to pay for the one that they lost. They've lost her false teeth. They are very poor at communicating with each other. Like I said there are some good workers there but unfortunately there are many lazy people there as well. I would not recommend anyone with a loved one place them in that facility for short or long term.
Patewood is a great place to put your love one if they need care. All facilities have their pros and cons and Patewood is no different. Families love to bash patewood and say they're '' trying to remove their love one'' but mean while they never seem to find another facility for them even though there are plenty🤔
My mother was there in May/June 2019 and she did great there. Of course there's your lazy worker's waiting on a paycheck instead of a patient. God must have blessed us. My Mama has been in probably 5 different rehabs recently from falls. We had better results at Patewood. I CAN help anyone with a rehab to AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Greer! Was dirty, caretakers all at nurses station at night having laughing parties...I mean LOUD EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!! PT was OK, but facility was filthy!!
