So yes or no i have my own pan im a newbie at this but this creek was named for finding gold i would only bring a pan and small hand shovel reed mine is closed till april and you have to pay for a pan of dirt lol

No they don't provide those services. Im pretty sure if you brought your own pan you could, but on certain land you need permission to do so, so inquiring with the park rangers located at cane creek would be good to do so before hand. If you are looking to pan for gold, you can do so at Reed Gold Mine in Midland, NC.
