Yes, there is a handy Kayak ramp for hardshells. Mine is an inflatable, so I use the most ramp area to put in and take out.

Yes, but not yet. Beach is open Memorial Day through Labor Day I believe. You can find their fees and schedule by searching Cane Creek Park, or Union County Parks & Recreation.

According to the Union County Government Parks updated fee schedule: canopies/gazebos are available for $30 (holds 30 ppl max), shelters #5 and #6 are available for $50 (holds 75 ppl max), and shelters #1- #4 are available for $100 (holds 150 ppl max). Softball, baseball, amd soccer fields are also available for a $15 half day rental!

It varies. Some shelters are large some are smaller. There are also picnic tables soread out throughout the park.

I don't recommend swimming here, water moccasins are running up and down the banks. Seen several every day fishing in the evenings. Plus, the swimming/beach area has been closed since I arrived a month ago. If you plan to swim, bring a gun.

Currently we have discontinued our annual sites. Those that were on our waiting list have been contacted and will be offered a site once they are available for a year. Once we have gone through the list, we will be turning the sites into normal full hookup reservation sites 🙂

The fishing area is probably about a half mile from the entrance. I'm not sure if you can leave and come back. Last time I went this spring I don't remember getting a stub or receipt of any kind saying I paid.

Largemouth bass and crappie fishing is decent. Yes, you can keep fish as long as they meet the minimum size limits. This is a County owned lake so they have some other rules too, such as cast nets are not allowed to be used.

Is better if you pay $5 per person for all day because you get to use the paddle boats nd mini golf also or you can pay $2 per person for a short while only

If you live in union county Mon-Thu is $37.50 per night. Fri-Sun is $48.75 per night. If you dont live in the county Mon-Thu is $50 per night and Fri- Sun is $65 per night.

You can fish from the bank at night, as long as you're camping there and you keep the noise down. No boats are allowed on the lake overnight.

No. And they're actually mountain bike trails designed for very skillful mountain bikers. Don't plan on taking a leisurely bike Tour of Cane Creek using the trails. Many of them are very close to the water's edge and you'll probably land in the water if you're not riding a mountain bike and if you're not an experienced mountain biker.

There is not a basketball court on the park side, but there is a basketball court on the camping side for campers. The park side has volleyball, horseshoes, hiking/biking trails, walking paths, fishing, and kayak/canoe/jonboat rentals among other activities.
