We need a water filter changed. We have the filter but can't get the used filter out as we don't have the grip. As we are 82 and 88! It is a Whirlpool refrigerator. 6 months old. What is the cost for a house call to do this?

The service call is $95.00 for a tech to come out. It would be up to the tech if they would charge any additional labor at the time of service.

I had a problem getting my filter out and took a pair of pliers and gently turned the filter and removed it. When I called Sloan's their service call was 95.00, but I don't know if that would be their rate for something like you need. Just call them and ask, doesn't cost anything for that. We needed refrigerator repair.We are both in our 80's too.
