I have never made a reservation. I usually get there when they first open.
During lunch hours it can be but opens at 11am but if you get there by the time it opens you'll get a seat if not might be safe to call.
Not sure about calling ahorro reserve a table but you can put your name down on the waiting list if there's a wait and the usually is at night.
Weekends it's usually busy, weekdays not so much. I'd call to see if they take reservations as we've never had to in the past.
