I love shopping at Walmart and I don't recall saying not to go there
This is nothing new. I'm from Tennessee, and most stores have been completely self checkout for over ten years now. I feel more Pros than Cons with self checkout. I like not having to wait behind others and nobody else touching my items. As the main grocery shopper in my home, I am very OCD about how my things are bagged, so it's easier to store away once I get home. It actually gives you more control. The only problem Walmart has is with the calibration. The bagging area is not yet able to feel if you placed lightweight items in. So a small product can accidentally scan twice or someone could bag it without scanning. You have to pay too much attention to the screen so you won't be accused of stealing on accident. They REALLY need to recalibrate.. But its very simple, you can take your time, and with babies and kids, Mom's are not embarrassed or rushed when kids start crying or screaming in the middle of checking out. Glad Birmingham is catching up with the rest of the world.
u sorry as hell..u made ur self the hold up
I love self checkout. I get out the store faster. I prefer this store because it is close to home and I know the layout. Self check-out keeps me on my toes and makes my mind work harder.
