I've never have a problem getting a table right away on a weekday morning or early afternoon.

During the weekday definitely. Saturday mornings are slammed but if you get in there early as soon as they open on Saturday you can get seated fast
Shoot for mid morning during the week but even then?
Weekday mornings are usually quiet. They have great breakfasts!
Honestly, I've never been there when it wasn't crowded. Weekday mid mornings are probably best.
