Amanda is right. Just do it for yourself, forget everything else. Jump in the water, after that it will be easier mentally. Getting in good shape doesn't happen overnight. The longer you wait, the harder it will be mentally and physically. Any kind of cardio will be a great start. Forget everyone else.
