Probably someone being lazy (would be my guess) or a security issue...but I don't know the facts of the matter :( I've never heard of any truck stop doing that, but... things have changed a lot....I actually just called to test it out. Was told that second shift takes the key when they leave. Weird
by the only reason you would probably find that out as if the manager accidentally took the key home or if it's an employee that they don't trust because there is some warranty papers but nine times out of 10 they're just being lazy.. what is inexcusable because you should be able to buy a headset at any time that would be the only reason if the key wasn't able to be located..but it also depends on the fact of the employee if it's a new employee they may not trust him with the key because where the headsets are located sometimes are the GPS is TVs at lots of high-dollar electronics dash cameras etc so you know how sometimes Roman eyes and Russian fingers can be lol
Just being lazy
