Yes and No. Each Hospital has their own specific Criitical Care Unit. Each Hospital can help in any way you may need. Emory is a teaching hospital. Grady is Trauma care hospital.
I don't think you could go wrong at either facility. My father is a patient of Emory and I never visited Grady or Atlanta Medical and Grady doctors have an excellent reputation but I would believe that you would get excellent treatment at each facility
Depends on your needs. Heart problems go to Crawford Long, burns/major trauma go to Grady, bone problems go to either Grady or Crawford Long. Atlanta Medical is for a quick fix such as asthma breathing treatment (unless dying from attack).
Yes
Absolutely 👍👍
Yes, it has to be for my family experience
Contrary to popular belief, Grady is better. Just experienced my dad having a stroke and Grady kept me informed with things ALL the way, ran every test needed, social workers were on top of things. Then, a week later after he entered rehab, he got sick and they took him to Emory Midtown. They were not the greatest. Social workers pretty much sucked.
Atlanta Medical is not even close to being better than Emory Midtown .They care here at Emory. Atlanta Medical almost killed me
Yes much better
